Urbfix Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Urbfix, an insurance-document extraction service operated by Codeploy Private Limited. By creating an account, accessing Urbfix, using the API, or purchasing a paid subscription, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service description

Urbfix converts supported Motor, Health, Life, Travel and Personal Accident insurance documents into structured, normalized and validated data. Extraction may use automated and AI systems. Results may contain uncertainty, omissions or inaccuracies, and needs_review identifies information requiring verification. You remain responsible for checking outputs before making decisions requiring definitive accuracy.

3. Accounts and API access

You must maintain accurate account information, protect account credentials and API keys, and notify support of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed using your credentials. LIVE API keys must be stored server-side.

API keys belong to the subscribing organization and may not be sold or shared publicly. TEST and LIVE environments are distinct. Rate and usage limits apply. Urbfix may reject abusive or invalid traffic. API clients should use idempotency and reasonable retry behavior.

4. Customer data

You must have lawful authority to upload and process insurance documents and personal information. Do not submit documents or data you have no right to process. Urbfix processes uploaded content to provide the extraction service; see our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Plans, subscriptions and usage

Urbfix offers Free, Starter, Growth and Scale plans. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled in Billing. Limits apply per organization, and all its API keys share one quota. Usage consumed before an upgrade remains counted in that usage period. Downgrades may take effect at the next renewal, and LIVE access may be restricted when the active plan no longer permits it.

An idempotent replay is not a new extraction. Completed and needs-review jobs count toward usage. Urbfix or provider failures return a reserved unit; unreadable documents and unsupported document types remain counted. Reasonable abuse-prevention controls may apply.

6. Payments and Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for our orders. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable taxes, invoicing and payment-related customer service. Codeploy Private Limited does not directly store your card details.

Your purchase may also be subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and applicable privacy notices.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Urbfix unlawfully or fraudulently; attempt unauthorized access; bypass quotas, rate limits or security controls; publicly share LIVE API keys; process content without legal authorization; reverse engineer security controls; or intentionally upload malware or harmful content.

8. Output disclaimer

Urbfix provides automated extraction and normalization. Review the validation, warnings, evidence and needs_review fields. Urbfix does not replace an insurer, broker, legal adviser, financial adviser or claims decision-maker.

9. Intellectual property

Codeploy Private Limited retains rights in the Urbfix software, branding, API, documentation and platform. You retain your rights in documents and data you submit.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access for security concerns, abuse, fraud, unpaid or past-due status after applicable grace handling, or a violation of these Terms. You may cancel a paid subscription in Billing; access normally continues through the paid-through period.

11. Warranties and liability

The service is provided subject to applicable law. Uptime and extraction accuracy are not guaranteed unless separately agreed. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms and will update the date above. We will communicate material changes where legally or contractually required.
